CNC PROGRAMMER

Looking for CNC Programmer for medium sized custom cabinet company.   Must have extensive knowledge of cabinet construction.  Experience with E-CAB Program an asset.  Willing to train the right candidate with the right attitude.

ROUTINE WORK

  • Engineer and program custom cabinet orders based on Xanadu design drawings:
    • Must be able to read plans, elevations and cabinet section details
  • Order, receive & track material inventory for your department (to be completed regularly)
  • Communicate daily with management regarding progress, schedule adjustments, etc.
  • Majority of time will be spent in shop (St. Jacobs location)

PERIODICALLY AS NEEDED

  • Operation of the following equipment:
    • Thermwood CNC router
    • Fravol edgebander
    • Omal doweling machine
    • Forklift
  • Be able to complete repeated heavy lifting
  • “Trim” or assemble custom cabinets to meet install schedule

MACHINE / CNC OPERATOR

Looking for machine operator for medium sized custom cabinet company.   Must be mechanically inclined and able to complete repeated heavy lifting.  Willing to train the right candidate with the right attitude.  Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record required.

ROUTINE WORK

  • Operation and standard maintenance of the following equipment:
    • Thermwood CNC router
    • Fravol edgebander
    • Omal doweling machine
    • Forklift
  • Receive & track material inventory for your department (to be completed regularly)
  • Communicate daily with management regarding progress, schedule adjustments, etc.
  • Majority of time will be spent in shop (St. Jacobs location)

PERIODICALLY AS NEEDED

  • Troubleshooting for service on heavy equipment (assistance will be available)
  • “Trim” or assemble custom cabinets to meet install schedule
  • Assist with cabinet loading, delivery and installation as needed
  • Assist construction team with demolition, carpentry work and clean-up as needed

CABINET MAKER

Looking for carpenter and/or custom cabinet specialist. Looking for detail oriented individual who can work independently and as a team.  Must be good with small power tools and repeated heavy lifting.  Willing to train the right candidate.  Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record required.

ROUTINE WORK

  • “Trim” or assemble custom cabinets to meet install schedule
  • Assist with cabinet loading, delivery and installation as needed
  • Track material inventory for your department (to be completed regularly)
  • Communicate daily with management regarding progress, schedule adjustments, etc.
  • Majority of time will be spent in shop (St. Jacobs location)

CONSTRUCTION CARPENTER

We are looking for an individual who will be responsible for assisting in the completion of top-quality residential renovations and additions, including, but not limited to: demolition, general framing, subfloor, trim work, hanging doors, installation of windows and doors, etc.  Willing to train the right person with the right attitude.

Must be competent in current construction practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment to ensure a high standard of quality and safety is maintained. The candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints and show a high level of independent problem-solving ability.

ROUTINE WORKS

  • Fitting and installing trim, doors, moulding and hardware.
  • Measuring, cutting and joining materials made of wood or wood substitutes.
  • Repairing and renovating wooden structures.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketches.
  • Familiarity with and understanding of Ontario Building Code
  • Able to complete tasks individually or as part of a team.
  • Maintain tools and must be competent in handling tools.
  • Be able to maintain a clean work environment.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • Understand building fundamentals with the ability to execute basic structures.
  • Ensure a safe work site is upheld for the safety of all parties involved.
  • Have a valid driver G-License and clean driving record.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to take constructive criticism.
  • Need to be flexible in day to day tasks and show a willingness to learn and maintain a high standard of quality.
  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects up to 50LBS
  • Ideal candidate will have 2 – 5 years construction or carpentry experience but willing to train right individual

Tools and vehicle provided for all day to day tasks. Must have own transportation to and from Shop (located in St. Jacobs).

 

GENERAL LABOURER

We are looking for an individual who will be responsible for assisting in the completion of top-quality residential renovations and additions, including, but not limited to: demolition, general framing, subfloor, material pick-ups and deliveries, clean-up etc.

    • Must have ability to repeatedly lift and manipulate heavy objects up to 50LBS
  • General framing and subfloor.
  • Material pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Site clean-up.
  • Maintain tools and must be competent in handling tools.
  • Be able to maintain a clean work environment.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ensure a safe work site is upheld for the safety of all parties involved.
  • Have a valid drivers License.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to take constructive criticism.
  • Need to be flexible in day to day tasks and show a willingness to learn and maintain a high standard of quality.
